Some By Mi's Retinol Intense Activating Serum is like a football team lineup of anti-ageing stars. The formula includes not just a 0.1% concentration of retinol, but also retinal (another form of Vitamin A that can work up to 11x faster than retinol in terms of skin cell turnover), bakuchiol, niacinamide, ginseng extract, adenosine, collagen, peptides and resveratrol. Whew! All these ingredients come together in a creamy serum that absorbs easily without residue. It hasn't been irritating on our sensitive skin, although be aware it contains a small amount of added fragrance (barely detectable by us). It layers well under your favourite moisturizer, and is surprisingly less drying than conventional retinol serums. Fabulous!

WHO NEEDS THIS?

HOW DO I USE IT?
In the evenings, apply on a cleansed and toned face. Pat gently to absorb. If it's your first time using a retinol product, introduce it slowly into your routine, starting with once weekly and gradually building up frequency if your skin permits. Don't combine with exfoliating acids under any circumstances, and avoid using it with other active serums like vitamin C and niacinamide if you have skin on the sensitive side.
Precautions:
Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.
