Powdered dried rosehips are used in the making of herbal teas, beverages, jams, syrups, breads and wine. Rosehips are used as a natural defense against infections like bronchial infections and colds, as it is a good source of Vitamin C.
Rose hip powder can also be used in scrubs and facial masks, and added to soaps as a gentle and natural exfoliant. In cosmetic formulations, the high concentration of Vitamin C in rosehips helps to brighten the skin, boost collagen production, and protect against environmental damage. Catechins and quercetin offer anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, making rosehip powder an excellent ingredient for calming irritated skin. Ellagic acid contributes to the prevention of collagen breakdown, helping to maintain skin's firmness and elasticity.
